Redesign Zebra Technologies’ .com site to represent the ongoing brand refresh and a new product.
MY ROLE — Sr. UX Designer on a team of two with a focus on interaction design.
OUTCOME — Zebra Technologies is a B2B company that sells printers, QR code scanners, RFID chips, routers, and the like. They were going through a rebrand and quickly needed a partner to consolidate two seperate product hierarchies into something that made sense and introduce that in a redesign of their ".com". We provided a strong brand-reveal experience that surfaced products in a way that resonated with their clients while also recommending future steps to be taken in order to address their clients biggest issues on their path to conversion.
CONTEXT — Zebra had just acquired Motorola Solutions and were in the middle of a brand refresh. They needed us to help them create a consolidated product taxonomy and represent the new brand. We started while many of those things were still very much in progress and helped Zebra bring it across the finish line themselves.
WHAT I DID — My focus was producing most of the page level wireframe design work supported by the other UX designer who was working through the product taxonomy. I got to work closely with our client at Zebra to ensure we aligned on the direction while the new brand was still being designed. I also lead a UX intern to generate ideas for how to solve some of the concepts.
